The Scottish Association of Car Clubs Navigational Rally Championship 2010

The Championship Supplementary Regulations are in the Downloads section below. Please take time to read them if you are planning to compete in the championship this year. There are a couple of small changes, particularly in the way the championship is scored, with the addition of a 'Bonus' point for competitors who enter each round by the closing date.

Boontree Birl – 30th January

Regulations for the first round of the championship, the Boontree Birl, organised by 750 Motor Club (Scotland) are attached. The event will start at AM Phillip, Trucktech, Muiryfaulds, Forfar and will finish at Aberlemno Village Hall. The event will be approximately 90 miles with first car away at 19:31hrs

Due to the MSA withdrawing the dispensation that allowed Navigational Rally competitors in Scotland to use a clubman licence, the minimum licence now required is a non-race National B and not as stated in the event regulations. Please ensure that you have the correct licence. Also, the basic insurance premium for the event (before any loadings) will be £16.28 and not as stated in the regulations. The contact e-mail address for Motor Sports Risk Services is now lauren.burgess@uk.lockton.com

Buglass Rally - 20th February

The second round will be the Buglass Rally, organised by Berwick and District Motor Club. Regulations will be issued as soon as they become available.

Gropers Rally - 6th March

The Buglass Rally will be followed two weeks later with the Gropers Rally, organised by Stonehaven and District Motor Club. The event will start and finish at the Stracathro Serviices on the A90 and will be approximately 99 miles long with first car starting at 19:31hrs.

Regulations are in the Downloads section below.
